Active principles
Rhodiola
Rhodiola rosea, also known as "Golden root" is a perennial plant of the Rosaceae family, which grows at high altitudes in the mountains of Northern Europe, in Asia (Siberia and Mongolia) and in North America (Alaska , Canada, mountainous areas of the United States).
The stem is woody, robust and branched with alternating leaves whose shape identifies the origin (the long and narrow ones prevail in southern latitudes). Rhodiola exerts a positive action in case of physical and mental fatigue and supports cognitive, cardiac, hepatic and muscular functions. It reduces the symptoms of fatigue and promotes recovery from physical exhaustion, counteracts the mild depressive symptoms associated with weakness and asthenia and increases sexual vigor in men. During slimming diets it reduces the feeling of hunger.
choline
Choline is a natural organic compound produced in small quantities by the liver; however most devi is obtained through diet
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)
Vitamin B1, or thiamine, is one of the so-called water-soluble vitamins, those which cannot be accumulated in the body, but must be regularly ingested through food. Vitamin B1 serves to ensure normal nerve function and normal heart function.
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)
Vitamin B6, also known as pyridoxine, is a water-soluble vitamin due to its ability to dissolve in water. It cannot be accumulated in the body and, therefore, must be introduced daily with food. Vitamin B6 intervenes in the transformation process (metabolism) of proteins, carbohydrates and fats and contributes to the formation of hemoglobin, a substance present in red blood cells which has the function of transporting oxygen to all tissues. Vitamin B6 is important for normal brain development, for stimulating brain function and for keeping the entire nervous system and body's defense system (immune system) healthy. It is essential for the synthesis of serotonin, a molecule which, together with other neurotransmitters, helps regulate mood, sleep, appetite, memory and the ability to concentrate.
Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin)
Vitamin B12 or cobalamin is a water-soluble (i.e. water-soluble) vitamin. The human body is not able to synthesize it, but it can be obtained from the intake of certain foods or special food supplements. Vitamin B12 is absorbed in two stages: it is first broken down by hydrochloric acid in the stomach and then recombines with a protein, called intrinsic factor, which allows it to be absorbed in the ileum. Vitamin B12 is found in a wide variety of foods mainly of animal origin, such as meat, fish, eggs, milk and its derivatives, and is resistant to cooking. In particular, clams, liver and kidneys are among the best dietary sources of cobalamin. Additionally, vitamin B12 is contained in some fortified food products, such as breakfast cereals, muesli, and other food products. Vitamin B12 promotes the functioning of the central nervous system and is involved in the production of red blood cells.
Group B multivitamin complex
Vitamin B1, or thiamine, is one of the so-called water-soluble vitamins, those which cannot be accumulated in the body, but must be regularly ingested through food. It is widespread in both animal and vegetable foods. In particular, it is found in legumes, cereals, pork, eggs and yeast. Vitamin B1 serves to ensure normal nerve function and normal heart function. Vitamin B2 is essential for the production of red blood cells, for the maintenance of membranes and mucous membranes and for the maintenance of vision. Vitamin PP (B3) is important for the proper functioning of the nervous system and for maintaining normal skin. Vitamin B5 is used for the synthesis of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters. It also helps ensure normal mental performance. Vitamin B6 is required for red blood cell synthesis, normal psychological function, and also to maintain normal immune system function. Inositol (Vit. B7) is necessary for the functioning of the nervous system and to ensure normal psychological function and memory. . It also serves to maintain the well-being of skin and hair. It also stimulates the production of Lecithin, a substance useful for keeping the internal walls of the arteries clean, preventing damage from LDL. Biotin (Vit. B8) is important for the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. It also improves the appearance of nails and hair. Vitamin B9, commonly known as folic acid, is an essential element for the production of red blood cells. Folic acid also contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. For this reason, its correct intake during the months of pregnancy is essential. PABA (Vit. B10) is used for the synthesis of folic acid, for protein metabolism and promotes the effectiveness of Vit. B5. Vitamin B12 promotes the functioning of the central nervous system and is involved in the production of red blood cells.
